Mental Well Being with Exercise

Mental Well Being with Exercise

We already know that exercise is good for your body. But most importantly it’s also effective in dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, and more.

Exercise is a powerful way to help with depression for several reasons. Most importantly, it promotes all kinds of changes in the brain, new activity patterns that promote feelings of calm and well-being. Exercise also releases endorphins, powerful chemicals in your brain that energize your spirits and gives you that feel good factor.

Exercise is a great way for distraction, allowing you to give yourself some quiet time to break out of the cycle of negative thoughts that feed depression.

Exercise relieves tension and stress, boosts physical and mental energy, and enhances well-being through the release of endorphins. Anything that gets you moving can help, but you’ll get a bigger benefit if you pay attention instead of zoning out.

When you are exercising it’s important to focus on your breathing or the wind in your hair if you are outdoors for example. By focusing on this mindfulness and on your body and how it feels as you exercise, you are not only improving your physical condition, but you may also be able to control your mindset and constant worries.

Exercise is so important for mental well being.

Keep focused - Keep your mind active - Keep your mind healthy.
