What Activity Level Am I?

You may remember in your original app set up that one of the questions you were asked was about your activity level. There were 5 selections for you to pick from and a little information given about how to select which one you were.

Part of your subscription includes our nutrition and meal plan support and your activity level is an important piece of information we use to calculate your optimum calorie intake along with other information in your profile such as your data of birth, height and gender. 

Because this is such an important piece of information we have expanded on each of these options to help you make the right choice. You can updated your activity level at any time by editing your profile in the app.

One thing to also take into consideration is how active you are in general. This maybe that you an active job where you are on the move throughout the day or maybe you have an active lifestyle on top of your exercise regime such as dog walking or running around after kids all day.

So, if you do have a generally active lifestyle we include this the same as exercising once a week so please take that into account when making your choice from below.

Sedentary – This is the selection to choose if you work a desk job and do very little exercise and other activities throughout the whole week. We understand that work life balance is important and being fit and healthy is also very important so FFL is here to get you out of this level of activity and at least into the next one above. 

Lightly Active – If you have an active lifestyle or a job when you are on the move all day but are only working out once a week on top of this then this is the choice for you. As mentioned before we hope you fit into this level as a minimum but always with a view to move up a gear to the next.

Moderately Active – Again, don’t forget about your lifestyle or job when making your choice. If you have a desk job but workout 2 to 3 times a week then choose this level. Or 2 wor klutz plus an active lifestyle or job. We hope to see clients in this level and it is definitely a great place to be as a good all round health lifestyle. That said there is always room for improvement so keep pushing yourself and you will keep wanting more.

Very Active – Now we are getting up there now and we hope to see more of you in this category as your time with us goes on. Exercising 3-5 times a week is great but it does take up time which we understand.

Extra Active – If you can workout 5 times a week and also have a generally active lifestyle or job on top of this then this is the activity level for you and respect for being here!
